Exceptionally cold in the restaurant, eating food with winter jackets at the tube of 140 00 just doesn't seem right..on a good note the service was great.
First of all the service was great! Food was tasty but i was brought the wrong dish. It was immediately fixed, then there was a problem with my husband's order.. The manager came over, comped the meal for my husband and everything was good. Also i had a wonderful margarita on the rocks.. Very strong.. Yum!
My family ate at this On the Border today and it was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in some time. The food took over 1/2 hour to arrive and it was first taken to another section of the restaurant where it sat for five minutes before three of our four entrees were brought to our table. My wife's entree was missing and the server offered no explanation as to why she did not serve it. However, my father-in-law saw her take one plate back to the kitchen and saw that the order was incorrect. When she brought my wife's entree later there was still no explanation or apology. My entree was burnt, My wife and father-in-law both ordered enchiladas and the tortillas were so tough they had to be cut with a knife. My mother-in-law ordered a salad and assumed it would not be spicy but it was very spicy and choked her. None of us felt well after eating there. The server came by fairly often but always seemed rushed so we did not bother to tell her the food was not good. We will never return to this restaurant.
Happy hour you can't go wrong. Good food, good drinks, and nice staff. This place can get busy, expect a wait depending on when you choose to dine out.
The food and service are excellent! It's definitely worth it. My issue (and why I can't give 5 stars) is I ordered catering for a work lunch. The pricing on the catering menu is very deceiving. When something says "starting at" you expect a change in meat selection to be a bit more, maybe even up to $20 more, but an additional $45 (almost double) is ridiculous and a bit of a shock and just saying "our menu does state starting at..." is a lame excuse for not being more upfront with your pricing. Other than what I feel is deceiving price methods on their catering menu, they really are great. The food is fantastic!
