i love the huge selection in the store that i can’t find at the woodland mall location. Also great customer service !
Aside from this, visiting this store last night was a huge mistake. It was a rainy night, so they were perhaps not as well-staffed as they could have been. However, my mother and I waited for 10 minutes in the checkout line while 1 cashier assisted 1 customer. I went to ask another worker if she would be able to check people out, as the line was now pretty long and wasn't moving, and she said no.
I thought I would go back to check if an exchange of some sort was possible. I asked the lady at the checkout. She said that was fine and they could do an even exchange..Delighted, I went to find comparable bras that did not have this same defect and spent time trying them on and picking the best color.
The customer service here is great. Got what I wanted. Was in and out pretty quick.
Very frustrated by my experience today. I am a faithful shopper and only buy my bras here. However, I recently noticed that some of my bras purchased within the past 6 months had started to develop a defect of "curling out" on the edge of the cup, making them impossible to wear under a simple t-shirt without poking through.(I do not machine dry)
We left without buying anything, and I have cancelled my Victoria's secret credit card as of today. Could not be more disappointed.
The quality of their merchandise has decreased over time. I have some 10-year old bras from here that aren't in the best shape, but are SIGNIFICANTLY better than bras I bought within the past 2 years.
However, when I finally got back to the register, the same lady seemed hesitant and, after checking with her supervisor, told me it was no longer possible. I had just spent about 30 minutes picking out the bras & waiting in a very long line based on the fact that she told me it was possible. Then I received a long explanation from the supervisor about the how's and why's of why they couldn't do that. That would have been perfectly fine...IF I was told that from the BEGINNING before wasting my time. On top of everything, since I am an hourly worker, this waste of time also meant I had to clock in late from my lunch break...costing me money. NOT happy.
I bought the "Knockout - By Victoria's Secret Front Closure bra" back in July of 2017. After just a week or so, the straps in the back had come apart and ripped a bit. I didn't have the receipt so I didn't think I'd be able to take it back for a return or exchange, based on previous experience. I just made it work. Then, I needed to make a trip in for a new every-day bra and thought after reading an article about a woman who returned a bra with a defect without any hiccups, I'd give it a try, too. I got up to the register and told the cashier what had happened, and she called the manager over, and after digging through some previous transactions under my phone number, we found it! Even though it was purchased five months prior, they still exchanged it for the same bra, no problem whatsoever. They told me never to hesitate to bring something back in with a defect and they'll always make it right. The managers name is Laura and she's always been very helpful. Thank you, Victoria's Secret for the excellent customer service and helping me stay in my most favorite workout bra I've ever worn! :)
