So sad. So frustrating.
They tricked my wife into a sale price (which she paid cash for) and then they opened a charge account for $40 without her approval. Now their charges and fees are over $200 and they call every other day. We have disputed the original charge but they won't listen and they keep calling and insisting we owe them the entire amount. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have even offered to pay the original $40 (which we don't owe them) and they won't take it and won't release the entire balance. AWEFUL. We will tell everyone we know NOT to shop there.

They'll actually make you grovel, and then still won't help you in any way. When given transaction info from your bank that you did indeed make the purchase there, they'll make you contact corporate HQ's to get a copy of the receipt. After they tell you they are living in the pre-industrial era and it will take 3 weeks to snail mail you a copy, they then remind you that they are making an exception to their policy and that they are taking the return with a "copy" of the receipt. Hmmm, I wonder how long before Ann Taylor Loft goes belly up like Circuit City?
