Great firm with great ideas!
The financial adviser we working with at Hantz stopped working there 9 months ago and they never bothered to let us know. We just happened to see that her employment had changed on her LinkedIn profile. That explained why we hadn't heard from Hantz for so long. We were basically no longer receiving financial services from them and they kept billing us, month after month. When I finally called them to ask that they quit billing us and to try and get a partial refund (I have called twice now, and they say they will look into it but don't call back) I get the run around. This company exists to aggressively sell you products. They want you to set up investment accounts through them, refinance your mortgage through them, get life, car and home insurance through them, use their new banking system, use their CPAs (very expensive and doesn't do very do much), estate planning, etc. They tell you up front they get kick backs from all of this but then they don't deliver on the customer service or financial planning end.
